That’s an exclamation of glee.
I have achieved CafePress nirvana. I sold a shirt approximately 4 hours after having posted it in my shop. (The brand new shop, that I opened 1/1/09 and have made 5 sales from already—6 if you count the order that declined.)
That’s after jotting down an off-the-wall idea in my handy dandy memo pad while driving home from work, getting home and making Photoshop 5.5 on a freaking dinosaur PC cooperate for 20 minutes, making the fam some dinner AND doing 3 loads of laundry. (Obviously I would have been working in Photoshop CS3 on my Mac downstairs if I hadn’t been trying NOT to burn dinner while uploading.)
Finally, I’m gleeful because the entire idea was so absurd I thought it might fail miserably as another one of those, seemed like a good idea at the time, driving down the highway…

Also making their debut on the order report:

I’m in my happy place. The place where I actually might have something called “disposable income” for when the kids come home with yearbook order forms, class ring order forms, and other variations of what teens consider “NEEDS” … ;D

Discovered today that CafePress is red-flagging text designs that simply say “New Moon” or “New Moon 2009″ … which sucks for those of us hoping to get a foot in the door should the highly anticipated Twilight sequel come with the same generous deal that Summit surprised CP shopkeepers with: Go ahead, make Twilight movie fan gear. We’re cool with that. (Summit, you rock.)

She just keeps saying, "He's gone."
The design at right is perfectly acceptable, however, apparently.
As well as thousands of other images tagged with “New Moon movie” at CafePress. (Over 3,600 as of today.)
Which rocks exponentially, because I’ve got about 40 new designs related to the Twilight sequel New Moon going up in cafepress.com/newmoons soon!
So…
What did you think of the book?
What do you expect to be different in the movie?

Team Edward? Team Jacob? Twilight mom?
Are all these things foreign to you?
Twilight (the movie) opens at midnight across the U.S. and everyone who has not already read the series will be looking for these … great holiday gift!

If you’re a CafePress shopkeeper and you don’t offer any official Twilight movie fan merch, you’re missing a great opportunity.

And that’s not all.
Do your research, be sure to know what’s allowed and what’s prohibited, and for the best results give them a design they can’t get anywhere else.
Anyone can type in “Team Edward” and throw it on a shirt. Make yours dazzle!

Found at Ophelias Academy:
This is a beautiful design that you might not find if you simply search for “twilight” or “twilight movie” … found it on the first page of results for “twilight fan” though.

You can get a better look at the art on the greeting card:

More to come.
