Recently popular with my Facebook friends, an album of 80s Rolling Stone covers that I would have so totally put up on my walls …
Now available as framed wall art from Imagekind.
You can get the 60s, 70s, 90s and modern covers, too.

A Facebook friend tipped me off to a great blog.
Nathan J Winograd has a lot to say about the Humane Society of the United States, and I’m pretty sure HSUS wouldn’t really appreciate it.
Another friend on Facebook shares 2007 tax information for the organization that is simply astounding. The amount of money made by HSUS — compared to the pennies it throws back to local humane societies that actually help animals is shocking — or it would be, if I didn’t already know what they’re all about.
Will share some stats once I become better acquainted with the 80 pages of government forms sent along … ahhh, tax time.
(You can be a friend on Facebook, too.)

I have been against “animal rights” since I first learned what motivates the core philosophy of the agenda: it is anti-human thinking that believes the Earth would be better off if humans were wiped from the face of the planet.
It is an agenda that includes the extermination of pets as founding members feel they would be better off not existing as they have been manipulated by humans to be our “slaves.”
I’ve been watching the words and actions of key players in the movement since the early 90s.
Animal rights isn’t about ending cruelty to rodeo animals—it’s about terminating the human-horse relationship and brainwashing the masses to stop eating beef and chicken, eggs and cheese.
(I started writing this weeks ago and it’s been living in my drafts. Seemed timely to finish it up and publish.)
Support animal welfare. Treat animals humanely.
Support local humane organizations. Donate food and other necessities.
Support education for pet owners, such as affordable spay/neuter programs.
Stop empowering PETA, HSUS and other lobbying groups from taking rights away from families who have raised animals for generations.

I was irritated to see that a well-meaning friend had inadvertently sent me a SuperPoke on Facebook that promoted the animal rights cause. This cattle farmer would have never deliberately supported an animal rights agenda, but it was slipped in with a cutesy “adopt a pet” message.
PETA doesn’t want you to adopt pets. PETA killed 97% of the animals it claimed to “rescue” last year. Adoptable animals, young and healthy, killed by the score and dumped in the trash—or stacked in their huge walk-in freezer.
When your life is threatened due to your stance on an issue, it becomes more than just an opinion.
More on the animal rights agenda as time allows.

As if I didn’t have enough going on with CafePress, Squidoo, Facebook and Twitter …
Soon, I’m sure I’ll learn why I need all these.
More likely, I’ll neglect them like Myspace and YouTube.
…
Okay, enough fooling around.
I’m uploading new designs to CafePress because that seems to be *THE* dependable ROI for my time.
As soon as I’m done playing some random Facebook app …

I’m running out of room for new flair.

You can send me your favorites, but they have to be good enough to bump one of my existing pieces of flair or no one will see them!
